Day #217

Hey there! Today I went on an adventure. Just less than a week ago, I was in the car with my family, coming back from somewhere (shows how much attention I pay to things) and I saw a field, not just any field, it was covered in purple-blue flowers. In summary, it looked amazing. Now that I am getting back into photography, I saw this as the perfect place to really kick some photos off. The only problem is that this field lays between Dover and Deal, right in the middle in fact, just next to a super busy road. It was clear I would have to walk it.

With my Ordinance Survey map in hand, I headed out. I'm not sure what it is but there is something unique about going out with a map and a destination in mind, compared to driving to the place and snapping a few pictures. I think it is the journey that really counts. Stumbling across different unique settings.

Today I also found my ND filter, the one I couldn't find a couple of days ago. I had the idea of using it and a long exposure on the field of flowers. I'm not sure whether I like the picture but hey, it's what I set out to do so I thought I had to use it.

My brother comes home this weekend and I can't wait! I haven't seen him since January so it'll be really nice to catch up.

Until tomorrow

Will :)
