Now, why am I angry? I am slightly less so after writing that first paragraph but not enough to not mention the original reason.
Racism. I hate it. It's a vile poison that forces society apart. It causes people to hate each other for incidental, irrelevant reasons, but I am not naive, I know it happens and I know it is hard to change people's mindsets. What got me angry is that the BNP break off party 'Britain first' are becoming prominent in Kent and more importantly, the UK. Their leaders Paul Golding and Jayda Fransen, as well as their whole party make me embarrassed to be part of this country. They shout down opponents, are not open to reasonable debate and terrorize targets or people that stand in their way. Their main ethos is that all Muslims are bad, multiculturalism will kill this country and this country needs to shut out all immigrants. In this video, 'Captain anti-cultural' Paul Golding (A man who looks more suited to a life on a bench with a can of special brew. Or on a bus shouting at strangers), with his gang of Danny Dyers shouts down Imam after Imam and wags his finger constantly.
I don't want to bring this blog's tone down but I use this as a platform of expressionism. I know they are a sub-party, perhaps a protest vote but every party starts somewhere.
Although, saying all of this, there is a cracking bit at 4 minutes on the dot where Paul Golding can't work out how to open a door. It's pathetically cute.
Until tomorrow
Will :)
